For Gail, it was “love-at-first-sight” walking in the door to attend worship in 1984 with a six-month old and a three-year old. Gail knew that this was the church for her family. She was born and raised a Methodist in Florida and following graduation from Florida State University, worked in a bank in Tallahassee while her husband completed his degree. They moved to Houston and she continued her banking career, becoming a Vice President and Auditor. After 19 years, Gail decided to retire and spend time with her husband and two girls. Volunteering at church had always been important and continued with more daytime involvement, such as answering the church office phone. Finally, she joined the staff in 2000. Her husband passed away in 2001 and since then she has enjoyed traveling, reading, teaching Confirmation classes, and spending time with her daughters, Katherine and Christina and granddaughter, Olivia.
