During the Advent and Christmas season, we are surrounded by sparkling decorations and cheerful music. It seems as if everyone is caught up in the joyful spirit of Christmas. For many of us though, the holiday can be difficult, sad, and lonely.
Recognizing our shared grief and loss during this time, a service will be held on the afternoon of December 15th at 2:00 in the Chapel. This special service has often become an expression of the spiritual journey of grief and loss. Our time together will be especially appropriate for those who have experienced a significant loss in the past few years. In this time of worship, you are invited to a quiet refuge of prayer, music, remembrance, and Holy Communion. We will acknowledge our losses and ponder the everlasting hope that shines like a light in the darkness
