Bethlehem LIVE: a simple nativity

The prophet Isaiah proclaims, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”. Isaiah makes this promise that found fulfillment in a little town of Bethlehem over 200 years ago. He makes a promise about the One who is coming that will change the world. But if we are honest, sometimes in the hustle and bustle of decking the halls, shopping for holiday gifts, and baking delectable treats, sometimes the wondrous story of the first Christmas gets lost in the shuffle.

Join us for an amazing time at Bethlehem LIVE: a simple nativity. Immerse yourself in the experience that was the birth of Christ. Follow in the footsteps of Mary and Joseph at our all-indoor and accessible event. Stroll to the interactive Bethlehem Community, where you will see, touch and hear activities of the time. Be seated in our Fellowship Hall for a life-action experience about the birth of Jesus.

Saturday, December 9, 2017

Our Saturday performances are designed as an outreach ministry of the church.

At FUMCMC, we celebrate that all are made in the image of God.  We also recognize that those with disabilities have unique requirements when it comes to performances.  Our desire is for all to feel welcome and comfortable.

  • Family friendly and accessible
  • Indoor performance and Bethlehem visit
  • Soft lighting and no loud noises

Join us as we step back in time and enjoy a performance of the nativity. If you are interested in attending one of the performances of Bethlehem Live on December 9, 2017, contact Mary Whitsitt by November 20, 2017.
